Unlike the Latvian Carting Championship „Pro-Cart” is a type of national carting competition, where the carting technique and participants of wide range of generations participate. The one may be able to see both the retro cartings, which has experienced their first participations in the Soviet times, as well as sports technique of the newer age.

„During the competition it will be possible to see how the carting has developed within the latest 30 years, as the carts from the last century as well as fast and modern technique will participate in the route. The competition in the route will be very exciting as these small vehicles may develop the speed even more than 100 km/h in the route, and the average speed is close to the same indicator,” tells Valdis Brutāns, „Pro-Cart” Manager.

„Pro-Cart” carting race in the Speed Festival will take place in the so far unusual environment – the street route of Liepaja city. On Saturady, 25 August, the existing rally speed stage in the territory of the former Liepāja Dairy Plant will be transformed to the carting route in the length of 800 m. Agenda (in latvian)

„Pro-Cart” competition is designed as multi stage series, with a possibility to win a Cup as the main prize of the total results achieved at the end of the season. The Speed Festival „Rally Kurzeme 2012” is the fifth stage of the series.

We would like to remind you that this year the Speed Festival offers the record number of motor sports competitions and events. In parallel to rally and cartings, it will be possible to enjoy the speed show of rallysprint, supersprint, dragrace, motor cycles competitions and other events.

Entrance cards to the Speed Festival “Rally Kurzeme 2012” are available at „BezRindas.lv” and ticket offices of „Biļešu serviss.lv”. The first 1000 spectator cards are available for a special purchase price – LVL 5. Later, when the Speed Festival will be approaching, the ticket price will increase. Children under the age of 14 years enjoy free entrance.
